Planning an event at Signia by Hilton Atlanta? Atlanta Music Pros can help coordinate audio, video, lighting, entertainment and production requirements, subject to the venue’s policies and vendor requirements. For events at Signia by Hilton Atlanta we can provide or coordinate ballroom and meeting room audio, wireless microphones, general session production, IMAG and multi-camera video, projection and LED, breakout room AV, live streaming, stage lighting, staging and corporate entertainment — subject to the hotel’s in-house AV arrangements and outside-vendor policy.
Signia by Hilton Atlanta is a purpose-built convention hotel beside the Georgia World Congress Center, which makes it the natural base for programs that use hotel ballrooms and convention halls in the same week. That adjacency is the defining planning fact about it.
Programs spanning two buildings need one production plan, not two. A single frequency coordination plan across both, one presentation management process, and one crew that knows where every session is — otherwise you get two sets of microphones fighting each other and two sets of decks going missing.
A purpose-built convention hotel is the most predictable kind of room to work in, which means the planning attention goes to the program rather than to fighting the building.
Speech first.
Seeing the stage and keeping the content.
Content people can read.
Making the stage look intentional.
Someone owning the show.
The half most AV companies do not provide.
The hotel is built for conference business, and most of what we are asked for here sits inside a larger multi-day program.
Ballroom main-room production with PA, presentation management, IMAG and show calling. See general session production.
Several meeting rooms running simultaneously with one frequency plan and coordinated changeovers. See breakout room AV.
Sessions built for the room and for remote attendees at the same time. See hybrid event production.
Evening programs with award playback, lighting and an after-party. See awards gala production.
Board meetings, leadership sessions and training inside a larger program. See corporate meeting AV.
Three things are worth working out early at this hotel.
If your program uses both the hotel and the convention center, treat it as one production. Wireless microphone frequencies have to be coordinated across everything running that week, because RF does not respect the line between two adjacent buildings. Presentation collection should run through one process, so a speaker presenting in the hotel on Tuesday and the convention center on Wednesday does not hand their deck to two different people.
Convention hotels commonly have an in-house AV provider, and the terms for bringing in an outside production company vary by property and sometimes by contract. Ask for the outside-vendor policy and any associated fee in writing before comparing quotes, because that number can change which option is actually cheaper.
Hotel guest wireless is not a basis for a live stream. Dedicated wired connectivity is a separate paid order with an advance deadline, and it needs specifying early enough to land in time. If a session is being streamed, this is the item that most often gets discovered too late. Venue policies, outside-vendor requirements, power, internet, loading access and production restrictions should be confirmed with the venue during pre-production. Many hotels, arenas and convention facilities maintain in-house AV departments, exclusive service providers, union labor rules, rigging approvals and outside-vendor fees, and those terms decide what any outside company can do in the room.
An illustrative configuration for a program with a ballroom general session each morning and three concurrent breakout tracks each afternoon. This is a hypothetical illustration of how a production of this shape fits together. It is not a past project, not a quote and not a price.
For a program spanning the hotel and the convention center, one frequency coordination plan across both buildings prevents the problem that is hardest to diagnose live: a microphone that works in rehearsal and not during the session.
This page exists because planners search for AV help by venue. It does not indicate any affiliation, endorsement, partnership, preferred-vendor status or approved-vendor status, and we make no claim to any. Signia by Hilton Atlanta is named here only to describe the kind of production planning an event in that building involves.
Whether an outside production company can work in a given space, and on what terms, is decided by the venue and by your own contract with it. We will work within those terms, and we will tell you plainly when something you have asked for is not ours to promise.
Atlanta Music Pros is an Atlanta-based company covering Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. We travel to the venue rather than operating suburban offices.
We can provide or coordinate ballroom and meeting room audio, microphones, general session production, IMAG, projection or LED, breakout AV, streaming, lighting, staging and entertainment, subject to the hotel’s in-house AV arrangements and outside-vendor policy. Convention hotels commonly have an in-house provider and terms that vary by property and contract, so that policy is the first thing to confirm.
Yes, and it is the right way to run it. Two adjacent buildings should be one production: a single wireless frequency plan across everything in use that week, one presentation collection process so speakers hand their decks to one team, and one crew that knows where every session is. Splitting it across two vendors creates exactly the coordination failures that are hardest to fix live.
That is set by the property and can vary by contract, so ask for it in writing during your negotiation rather than assuming either way. It matters because a lower outside AV quote plus a substantial vendor fee can total more than the in-house option. Getting the number early is the single most useful thing you can do when comparing quotes for any convention hotel.
Yes, provided dedicated wired internet is ordered. Hotel guest wireless is shared, variable and not a reasonable basis for a live stream, and dedicated connectivity is a separate paid order with an advance deadline. We will specify exactly what the stream needs so it can be ordered in time, since this is the item that most often surfaces too late to fix cleanly.
Several, and the limiting factor is usually the setup window rather than equipment. Multiple rooms are set simultaneously, coordinated under one frequency plan so no two rooms interfere, with a roaming technician covering the start of each session plus dedicated technicians in rooms that need them. Changeovers between sessions get choreographed in advance rather than improvised in a corridor.
Yes, on one contract. The same team can run general sessions and breakouts during the day, then the reception, dinner, awards program and after-party in the evening with a DJ, MC or live band. For multi-day conferences that continuity is worth a lot, because the crew already knows the rooms, the schedule and how the audience is behaving.
Tell us the program shape, the dates and whether any of it spills into the convention center. Multi-building programs are much easier to quote accurately when we know that upfront.
